About Me:

Hi, I’m Lisa—mum of two and Founder of Little Play Tribe!

During maternity leave in 2019, I discovered that a child’s brain forms millions of connections in the first five years, shaping learning, social skills, and emotional wellbeing. I realised that play and meaningful connection drive this development, supporting problem-solving, communication, and self-regulation—and it inspired me to leave the corporate world for something more meaningful.

From our base near the Cotswolds, our small team of mums and Early Years specialists create eco-conscious playdough kits, sensory resources, and party bag fillers that encourage screen-free, hands-on play, nurturing imagination, confidence, and mindful development.

We proudly source locally from fellow small UK businesses and have supported thousands of families across the years—including many with children with additional needs.

And we’re on a mission to banish plastic tat from party bags—offering thoughtful, planet-friendly alternatives that children will actually love to play with, last far beyond the party date and are 100% recyclable / compostable - a world away from cheap, landfill destined party bag fillers.
